Web Development Pricing
in Pune

A business website starts at ₹20,000 and a store at ₹30,000. Every figure below is a floor for the scope beside it, the quote is fixed in writing after a discovery call and billed against milestones, and what sits outside the price is named here rather than discovered later.

Websites & e-commerce

What does a website cost in Pune?

A business website costs ₹20,000 to ₹40,000 at Infiscroll depending on the tier, and the tier is decided by how much has to be built rather than styled. Each figure below is a starting price for the scope beside it, not a quote: the quote is fixed in writing once the scope is.

The four rows pair each build with the timeline it typically runs to. Both columns are the figures used across the rest of this site, so a price quoted on a service page and a price quoted here are the same number.

Static / business

₹20,000+

Up to 10 pages, responsive, on-page SEO, forms, Maps + WhatsApp. ~2–3 wks.

Dynamic / CMS

₹30,000+

WordPress, self-editable, blog, gallery, lead forms. ~3–4 wks.

E-commerce

₹30,000+

Shopify/WooCommerce, payments, shipping. ~4–6 wks.

Custom e-commerce

₹40,000+

Custom features & workflows. ~6–10 wks.

Those four figures sit in the middle of a very wide market, and the width is the first thing worth understanding before comparing any two quotations.

Every figure is a floor, not a quote: the jump from a static site to a dynamic one buys a CMS, and the jump from Shopify to custom buys control over the checkout.

The spread

Why do quotes for the same website differ so much?

Because three different products are sold under one word (a hosted template, a built site, and a bespoke system) and the price follows which one is being bought. A single search for website packages in Pune returns quotations for what looks like the same thing at ₹3,800 and at over ₹2,00,000, a factor of more than fifty, and neither end of that range is dishonest.

The hosted template, at entry figures in the low thousands, is a ready design filled with your text and pictures, running on the vendor’s hosting, kept alive by an annual renewal paid to them. It is quick, it is genuinely cheap, and it is the right purchase for a one-page presence that nobody plans to change.

The built site, in the tens of thousands, is a layout drawn around your content rather than your content squeezed into a layout, on hosting and a domain in your own name. That is the tier this page prices, and the difference is not decoration. It is who owns the thing afterwards and whether the next ten pages fit.

The bespoke system, in lakhs, is software rather than pages: user roles, dashboards, integrations and data that has to behave. Google’s own summary of this market puts that tier from about ₹90,000 to ₹5,00,000 and above, which matches what a system of that kind takes to build.

Comparing two quotations therefore starts with working out which of the three each one is describing. A number is only comparable to another number when both cover the same product.

A written quotation with the scope each published figure covers

Straight answer

Why does Infiscroll start at ₹20,000?

Because ₹20,000 buys ten pages built around your content, on hosting and a domain in your name, not a template on ours. The entry tier in this market runs from about ₹3,000 to ₹10,000 for one to five template pages, and that is a different purchase rather than a cheaper version of the same one.

Three specific things account for the gap. The layout follows the content, so six services do not have to be cut to three because the theme has room for three. The domain, the hosting and the analytics accounts are in your name, so the site can move to another studio or another host without being rebuilt. And on-page SEO, enquiry forms and the Maps and WhatsApp links are inside the scope rather than sold as additions once the site is live.

The honest half of this answer is the other direction. For a single page with three lines of text, a phone number and no plans to grow, a hosted template at a few thousand rupees is the right purchase, and saying so costs us a project we should not have taken. The tier table above prices the point at which that stops being true, roughly, the moment the site has to earn enquiries rather than merely exist.

Included

What is included in every project?

Six things are inside every build price, at every tier, rather than quoted as additions. They are listed here because the commonest way a low quotation becomes an expensive one is a scope that omitted them.

  • A responsive build: the phone layout is inside the scope from the ₹20,000 tier upward.
  • Basic on-page SEO: titles, descriptions, headings and structure written in rather than bolted on afterwards.
  • Enquiry forms, with Google Maps and WhatsApp links where the business needs them.
  • The revision rounds your quote states. Revisions refine the agreed scope, and a change to the scope itself is quoted before the work starts.
  • QA across browsers and screen sizes before anything goes live.
  • A one to two month support window after launch, inside which breakages are fixed as part of the build.

The terms behind those last two are published in full in our terms of service, and how each stage closes is set out on our process page.

Excluded

What is not included in the price?

Domains, hosting, paid plugins, stock media and ad spend are billed at cost or paid by you directly, because they are somebody else’s recurring fee rather than our work. Naming them here is the point: an integration assumed by the client and unnamed in the scope is the commonest source of a mid-project extra.

That choice is also why our entry figure looks higher than the entry-priced packages on this search. Those bundle the domain and a year of hosting into the build price and then charge an annual renewal to themselves: Google’s own summary of this market puts that renewal at roughly ₹2,000 to ₹4,000 a year, and the published plans on this search sit between ₹1,500 and ₹3,000. Read structurally, the build is the acquisition price and the renewal is the product: the site lives on the vendor’s account, so leaving means rebuilding. Ours are registered in your name, which costs more on day one and costs nothing to walk away from.

Every figure on this page excludes GST, which is added as applicable. That is worth checking on any quotation rather than assuming, ours included: only one of the pages ranking for this search states its tax position at all, and a quotation that is silent on it can move between the estimate and the invoice. Ask for it in writing before comparing two numbers.

Payment

How does payment work?

A project begins on the advance stated in your quote, and the balance falls due against the milestones that quote sets out. None of the pages ranking for this search publishes a payment schedule at all, which leaves the question every buyer asks second to a phone call.

Milestones rather than a single payment exist for a reason that helps both sides: each one attaches to something you have seen and approved (an agreed scope, a set of screens, a built site in staging) so payment tracks progress that is visible rather than a date on a calendar.

Recurring work is separate and simpler. SEO, local SEO, answer-engine work and marketing are billed monthly in advance, and either side may end them on 30 days’ written notice. Nothing recurring is bundled invisibly into a build price. The full terms are in our terms of service.

Apps

What does an app cost?

An Android app starts at ₹60,000, iOS at ₹75,000, and both platforms with a web dashboard at ₹1,00,000. The platform figures differ because the review, signing and release process differs, not because the app does more.

Android

₹60,000+

iOS

₹75,000+

Android + iOS + Web

₹1,00,000+

Flutter / React Native.

Store fees are the buyer’s, not ours, and they are charged by Apple and Google rather than by us, what they cost and whose name the accounts should be in is set out on app development in Pune.

Marketing

What do SEO and marketing cost each month?

Website SEO is ₹20,000 a month plus a ₹20,000 one-time setup, local SEO ₹8,000 a month plus ₹15,000, answer-engine work ₹20,000 a month plus ₹20,000, and a full digital marketing programme ₹20,000 a month. All four are billed monthly in advance and endable on 30 days’ notice either way.

A cost guide ranking on this same search prices SEO packages in Pune at ₹5,000 to ₹25,000 a month, so ours sits at the upper end of the published range. What the setup fee buys is the difference: month one is the audit and the repairs it finds, which is front-loaded work that does not repeat, and separating it keeps the monthly figure honest instead of averaging a heavy first month across a year. SEO in Pune sets out what happens in each of those months.

Custom software and AI automation are quoted per project after discovery, because the price follows the scope of a workflow rather than a page count, how that quote is arrived at is on custom software development.

Stores

Why does an online store start at ₹30,000?

Because a Shopify or WooCommerce store starts at ₹30,000 where the checkout, the payment plumbing and the security belong to the platform, and a custom store starts at ₹40,000 where those become ours to build and maintain. The two figures are a scope statement rather than a discount.

Placed on the published market ladder, both sit at the bottom of the band: Google’s summary of this market puts e-commerce packages at ₹25,000 to ₹75,000 and above, and one Pune studio ranking for these searches publishes a three-tier store ladder that starts at ₹50,000. Ours begins lower because it begins on the platform’s rails.

The crossover is worth knowing before choosing the cheaper row. The moment the checkout, the pricing rules or the way the catalogue behaves has to differ from what the platform does by default, the custom tier becomes the cheaper answer. Fighting a platform costs more over two years than replacing it did on day one. E-commerce development in Pune works through which side of that line a business sits on.

Good to know

What changes the price?

Five things move a quotation, and page count is only the first of them. They are listed in the order they usually matter.

  • Page count: ten pages is the scope at the entry tier, and pages beyond it are priced as they are added.
  • How much design is drawn rather than extended: a new page type costs more than a fifth page of an existing type.
  • Features and integrations: a payment gateway, a booking system or a CRM connection each add a dependency to build and test.
  • CMS or custom: self-editable content is the jump from ₹20,000 to ₹30,000, and it pays for itself the first time a price list changes.
  • Content, whether text and photographs arrive written or have to be produced, which is the item most often forgotten.

Those five are named rather than priced individually because the project is quoted as a whole. A guide ranking on this search prices each component separately, copywriting by the page, imagery by the shoot, which is a fair way to build an estimate and a poor way to buy a website, because the total is what you pay and the parts are what you argue about.

What changes the price: illustrated

After launch

What happens after launch?

Every project includes a one to two month support window, inside which breakages are fixed as part of the build rather than billed as maintenance. That sits inside the market norm: Google’s summary of this market says standard packages carry 30 to 90 days of post-launch support followed by an annual maintenance contract, and a cost guide on the same search prices website maintenance at ₹3,000 to ₹10,000 a year.

What we do differently is what happens at the end of the window. Maintenance is not an automatic annual bill here: a site left alone still works, it simply stops improving, and whether that matters depends on whether the site is expected to earn anything. Ongoing work runs as its own monthly engagement, billed monthly in advance, endable on 30 days’ written notice either way.

What you own at that point does not depend on any of it: the design files, the website content and the custom code written for you are yours once the project is paid in full, and the accounts are in your name. The clause is in our terms of service and the reasoning is on the services page.

FAQ

Pricing: questions answered

Eight questions come up on almost every quote: what a website costs, why quotations differ so widely, what sits outside the price, whether the figures include GST, how payment is staged, how many revisions are included, whether the published figure is a quote, and what happens after launch. The answers below are the ones we give on the call.

How much does a basic website cost in Pune?

A static business website (up to 10 pages) starts from ₹20,000; a dynamic, self-editable site starts from ₹30,000.

How much does an ecommerce website cost?

Shopify or WooCommerce stores start from ₹30,000; custom ecommerce from ₹40,000.

How much does an app cost?

Android from ₹60,000, iOS from ₹75,000, and combined Android + iOS + web (Flutter/React Native) from ₹1,00,000.

How much is SEO per month?

Website SEO starts from ₹20,000/month plus a one-time ₹20,000 setup. Local SEO is ₹15,000 setup + ₹8,000/month.

Do you offer milestone or EMI payments?

Yes. Projects are billed in milestones, so you pay as the work progresses.

Is hosting and domain included?

Domain (~₹800–1,500/yr) and hosting (~₹3,000–10,000/yr) are billed separately; we set them up for you.

Are there ongoing or maintenance costs?

Maintenance is optional after the included support window, via an affordable AMC plan.

Do the published prices include GST?

No. Every figure published on the pricing page excludes GST, which is added as applicable. It is worth asking any studio for this in writing before comparing two quotations, because a figure that is silent on tax can move between the estimate and the invoice.
