in Pune
Infiscroll runs SEO for Pune businesses from ₹20,000 a month, month to month, with 30 days’ notice either way. This page states what it costs, what happens in the first ninety days, and what you are committing to: three things the pages ranking for this search do not put in writing.
The work
What are the four types of SEO?
SEO splits into four kinds of work (on-page, technical, off-page and local) and most Pune businesses need three of them at once. The four below are the ones every agency means when it quotes for “SEO”, described by what actually gets done.
- On-page SEO decides what each page is about and proves it: the topic a page owns, the questions it answers, the headings, the internal links pointing at it. This is where most Pune sites lose ground, because pages are written for the business rather than for what a customer typed.
- Technical SEO makes the site crawlable and fast: indexing, site structure, page speed, schema, mobile rendering, redirects after a rebuild. It rarely wins a ranking on its own and reliably prevents one when it is broken.
- Off-page SEO is everything that happens on other people’s sites: citations, directory profiles, mentions and links. For a Pune service business this is often the slowest and the most decisive, because page one for local commercial terms is largely held by directories and round-ups.
- Local SEO targets the searches that carry a place or a “near me”: the Google Business Profile, reviews, map results and locality pages. It is a different discipline from the other three, which is why local SEO is quoted separately.
A fifth surface now sits beside them rather than inside them: being quoted by answer engines (AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity) which rewards clearly answered questions rather than keyword density. Three of the five pages ranking for this search already discuss it, so it is no longer exotic; answer-engine and generative-engine optimisation covers how that work is run.
The first quarter
What happens in the first ninety days?
Month one is audit and repair, month two is the pages the audit prioritised, month three is content and citations, with a report at the end of each. The order matters: publishing into a site that cannot be crawled properly spends money on pages search engines struggle to read.
The audit covers indexing and crawl errors, site structure and internal links, page speed and mobile rendering, on-page targeting per page, and the gap between what your pages answer and what your customers actually search. The repairs that follow are the ones with a measurable effect, not a checklist run for its own sake.
Each month’s report says the same four things: where you rank for the terms being tracked, what traffic arrived, how many enquiries came from search, and what was changed that month. A report that lists activity without naming what changed is a timesheet, not a result.
Our process sets out the stages and what we need from you to hold them.
Timeline
How long does SEO take?
Movement on low-competition and long-tail terms usually appears within two to three months; competitive head terms in Pune take six months or more. Three things decide where a site falls in that range: how old and how trusted the domain already is, how contested the terms are, and how much of the work is technical repair before any content is written.
A site being rebuilt has a different curve again, because a migration can cost rankings before it earns them, which is why redirects and structure are settled during the build rather than after it.
What no agency controls is the algorithm itself, which is the subject of the next question.
Straight answer
Can anyone guarantee a ranking?
No, and no agency can: rankings depend on an algorithm nobody outside Google controls and on competitors who keep working too. Google states it directly in its own Search Central documentation, in its published guidelines Do you need an SEO?: “No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google.” The same page tells site owners to be wary of anyone who claims to guarantee rankings, alleges a special relationship with Google, or advertises a priority submission.
This is not a minority view among agencies either: the page currently ranking first for this search says the same thing in its own words, and treats a guaranteed-ranking promise as a reason for caution.
It is worth knowing that two of the five pages ranking for this search do advertise “guaranteed results”. The phrase should be read as a sales position rather than a deliverable, because the only way to guarantee a position is to pay for an ad in it.
What is committed instead is written into the quote: the scope of work, the method, the reporting cadence, and the terms. All of which appear in our terms rather than in a conversation.
Cost
What do SEO services cost in Pune?
Website SEO runs ₹20,000 a month with a ₹20,000 one-time setup; local SEO is ₹8,000 a month with a ₹15,000 setup; answer-engine work is ₹20,000 a month with a ₹20,000 setup. Those are the figures published on our pricing page, and none of the five pages ranking for this search publishes a rupee figure at all.
The setup fee is not an administrative charge. Month one is the audit and the repairs it finds, which is front-loaded work that does not repeat. Separating it from the monthly fee keeps the recurring number honest rather than averaging a big first month across a year.
Three things move an SEO quote: the number of pages that need work, how contested your terms are, and whether the site needs technical repair first. A ten-page site targeting a Pune locality and a two-hundred-page site targeting national terms are not the same engagement, and quoting them the same way would be guesswork.
Commitment
What are you committing to?
A month at a time. SEO is billed monthly in advance, and either side may end it on 30 days’ written notice: the same terms published on our terms page, not a special arrangement.
This is the question the market leaves unanswered: none of the five pages ranking for this search mentions a contract length, a notice period or a lock-in at all, while the fear of being stuck in a retainer that cannot be exited is one of the most common things buyers raise before signing anything.
What happens to the work if you leave also matters, and the answer is that it stays yours. The site, the content written for it, and the analytics and Search Console accounts are in your name and remain so: the same handover position set out on our services page.
FAQ
SEO in Pune: questions answered
Six questions come up on almost every SEO enquiry: what it costs, how long it takes, whether rankings can be guaranteed, how SEO differs from local SEO, whether technical work is included, and what happens with AI search. The answers below are the ones we give on the call.
How much does SEO cost in Pune?
Website SEO is ₹20,000 a month with a ₹20,000 one-time setup, local SEO is ₹8,000 a month with a ₹15,000 setup, and answer-engine work is ₹20,000 a month with a ₹20,000 setup. The setup covers month one, which is audit and repair rather than reporting.
How long does SEO take to work?
Typically 3–6 months to see movement, and 6–12 months for competitive terms. Site age, competition and content velocity all affect the timeline.
Do you guarantee #1 rankings?
No, and no agency can. Rankings depend on an algorithm nobody outside Google controls and on competitors who keep working too. The page ranking first for this search says the same thing. What is committed is the scope, the method, the reporting cadence and the terms in your quote.
What is the difference between SEO and local SEO?
SEO ranks you in general organic results; local SEO ranks you in Google Maps, the local pack and near-me searches. We do both.
Do you do technical SEO?
Yes (site speed, Core Web Vitals, crawlability, schema and site architecture are core to what we do.
Will you optimise for ChatGPT and AI search?
Yes, and it is no longer unusual) three of the five pages ranking for this search already discuss it. Answer engines reward questions answered clearly and self-containedly rather than keyword density, and that work is quoted separately as answer-engine and generative-engine optimisation.
Ready to rank for what your customers search?
Three things make a first message useful: your website address, the searches you want to be found for, and whether you already have Google Search Console access.
